Hi, I am a strong Zoho CRM user and I spent a fair amount of time configuring the Zoho Email integration with CRM. At first it looked like a killer feature and I was excited about rolling it out to the rest of my company but there are some serious flaws that need to addressed before it can be considered for any organization. At this point I would consider ZMail to ZCRM a strong proof of a (great) concept. My goal with this post is to try and get the Zoho team to spend more resources on this and
Work with Email integrated CRM and map old Emails or Emails forgotten without Outlook Plugin
In many years working with Email integrated CRMs I know, and experience it now with Zoho CRM, it's normal that old emails need to be related to Leads or Contacts. As we also don't want to default BCC and sometimes we forget to send a copy of sent emails to Zoho CRM BCC Dropbox. How can such old or forgotten Emails added and related to Zoho CRM without Outlook Plugin? A. The reasons for searching a solution without Outlook Plugin are: Mixed environment with many users on iMail, Thunderbird.or Goggle

Convert Leads to accounts Notes Issue: Printing Accounts
Any Leads converted to an account the notes will be saved to the contact and not the account the problem with this is, that any contact you delete the comments will ALSO delete. Just to let you all know: What i discovered today is that if you print any accounts, the notes on the contact WILL NOT BE PRINTED as they are separate. This is an excellent example and essensial argument why the converted notes should be attached to the accounts and not the contact. My question is, what else does this affect
Do Carriage Returns Count as Characters from the 32,000 available within Standard 'Description' Fields?
Zoho offers a Standard Field called Description in many of its modules that offers 32,000 characters. We love that about Zoho! However, our team finds it difficult to read all the text we enter for each of our contacts and products. We're wondering if we'll run out of space (characters) if we use carriage returns to apply spacing between new dated entries? It would be FAN-tastic, if we didn't, but we'll live if it isn't so! We have been getting this red error message after we send emails that states: Error while processing the request! You need to verify the ReplyTo address to send emails using this account. Email meeting request CRM integration
When an email is received containing a meeting request, this is not put into my CRM calendar. Instead, it appears in Zoho Calendar, which seems to be a completely different calendar. Email and CRM do not seem to be integrated very well.
'Add Email' of Zoho CRM Outlook Plug-in doesn't create lead of Sender when recipient exists
When we receive emails with requests from new leads they are sent either it info or salesrep. directly. In order to create the new lead and add email we want use 'Add Email' button. But it always adds it only to the exiting contacts of our info and salesrep. (another Zoho CRM problem, as users should be contacts too, or be linked at least) and doesn't create the lead for the sender of the email. That's not logic? Any hint for me how to add new leads or contacts directly form emails or text blocks
ZOHO Mail Integration
We're in the middle of our trial and the mail integration is important to us. We've spent 3 days now letting ZOHO load some 20,000 emails from gmail into ZOHO so those emails can be tied to customers. Apparently though, when an email is deleted from ZOHO mail it is removed from the customer record. Is there some way to stop that from happening? We really don't want to use email within ZOHO, we just want ZOHO to check our email so it can connect those emails to customer records. Is there a way to
How to move a contact from one account to another?
Eg: I have a Contact named Mustafa who was working with a Company named Veritis. This Company became our paid customer because of him. He has now moved on to another Company Employ. I would also like to associate him with this new Company (not loosing the data for previous Company). Can he be associated to 2 companies with mention of Past company & Current company?
Quote to PDF on Windows 8.1
Yesterday I was using Windows 8 and was able to transfer a Zoho Quote in CRM to a pdf file. Then I updated to Windows 8.1 and now when I go to transfer to PDF, I get the correct template screen, and then get to "Open" the file. then a screen pops up that says "Can't open this file. There's a problem with the file format." Can you help?

Can't modify potential views
Hi, I'm trying to modify a specific view of the potential in Zoho CRM, adding an automatic filed named "Durata ciclo vendite" in italian (I suppose that the english name should be "Sales Cycle Duration"). HTML code not executing
We are using html code of script at custom fields of Templates and Quotes. It was worked fine. But now the templates exported results are showing the html script instead of the results. html script are not returning the results.

Not every time I log in however most times lately the Zoho CRM site keeps refreshing which does not allow me to access anything. Not sure how to get it to stop that. There is no other site I visit that does this.

Converting Leads with Custom Module lookups
We are a real estate company, so many of our leads use custom modules for commercial properties and residential properties that the leads own. Leads might own one or more properties, so by creating a custom module we have been able to create this connection using a look-up on the custom module. An issue has arose that when we convert the lead we are unable to transfer the custom module's information to the contact/account. Any ideas of how we can transfer this information along?

Organization logo shows up as broken link
Hi... I have a valid image that is under 20K and when I try to add it from my local PC's HDD as my logo, I can drill down to the file, select it, save it, but it then displays as a broken image. The image was created in MS paint and saved both in JPG and PNG formats. I tried uploading each of those formats and it doesn't work. Is this a known issue? What is the work around?
New to Zoho and need a suggestion regarding contacts and products
I've been working on customizing the Zoho environment to meet our needs here, but there an issue that I can't seem to solve. I need a way to associate a lead (or in worse case, a contact) with a Product we sell. We'd like to be able to search on that Product field for the lead or contact associated with it. I can get a Product in a contact's record, but I can find no way to search on it. Any suggestions? Roy

Custom Field Number Format
We have added a custom field in the "Potentials" module for tracking project numbers. The field is setup as a number. It is limited to 9 digits and it must be a whole number. Our typical format is 12345.0001 which cannot be accepted because of length and also the decimal point. Can I change this? Maybe as a work-around I can place the sub-number .0001 in a second field adjacent to the first and connect them somehow? Eventually we would like to add a custom module to track and sort by project

"From" field of email sent, is showing zohoCRM instead of my email

Before sending to prospects for real, I have made a test by sending myself an email to see how the receiver would see it, and when opening it I noticed that the "from" field shows "sabrina=advalo.com@zohocrm.com on behalf of Sabrina Broggini <sabrina@advalo.com>" instead of directly showing my email adress or my name, thus clearly showing that this email is sent by a CRM tool. No Undelivered email bounce when sending emails to prospects from ZohoCRM
Hi, I am using ZohoCRM (free version) to structure the sales and prospect activities for my little company. I noticed that when sending emails to prospects through ZohoCRM, I do not get any bounce message on my email when the targeted email is not correct, thus I never know if the message has been delivered or not, if the email typed is correct or not... Gmail Integration in CRM via Zoho Mail App -- "No records found"

Is there anyway to have the contacts address update when you modify or update the Account address. Currently I have to go through and update every contact under a account to make sure the address is corrected with any updates. Please advise.
Using CRM but want to customise headings
We are a hotel and are using Zoho CRM for our database, and are delighted with it. However, we want to customise our headings i.e. leads - Individuals, Contacts - Tour Operators and also add a number of categories. If we purchase Enterprise on the short term and customise the site, can we then revert to Zoho CRM as normal after a short period.
