I've been using the Zoho Projects Chat lately and have encountered a problem where each time I receive a chat message, I have to click in the text input box or scroll down in the chat box for it to display the new message. Please respond as this is becoming a headache.
Project Contacts
I have just started to test Zoho Projects after using Zoho CRM for a couple of months. I'm having trouble figuring out how we associate contacts with a Project? I've seen posts mentioning adding contact detailsin Zoho Projects, so I think it must be there and I just can not find it? This is separate from adding a user for a project as there are usually several contacts that are associated with any given project, experts that we call, etc...that we want to know who they were and what we spoke to

Is there any way to stop sending emails to yourself?
When I create a new task and assign it to someone else, Zoho sends me an email. I know that a new task has been created because I CREATED IT ! Is there some way to stop Zoho sending me emails for actions that I perform?
Define Non-Working Days, Project Start
We recently rolled Projects out to all of our organization, and while overall I'm pleased, it's a big deal that I can't define non-working days, which makes Duration useless for us. Templates would be much easier to use if we could define non-working days as well as the project start date, rather than "shift date". It's not a deal-breaker for us yet, but I could see this being a sticking point in the future.
Sync with google Task

No way to remove date on a task
Hi, It's me again :) I've noticed that there is no way to remove dates (start date and end date) on a task once they are set. That is very inconvenient, because by default they are not set. But once I open advanced options and set these dates, there is no way to get rid of them. Laisan laisan
Meetings and Google Calendar Sync
Can you add the ability to exclude weekends from recurring meetings? Since there is a limit to the number of recurring meetings, this would help a lot. Also can you make it possible to choose the Google Calendar that I send tasks too and not just make it one big Zoho calendar. When it's one calendar I can't tell which tasks belong to which project, if the tasks are named in the same way. If however I can select the right calendar when I create the task, then I can make sure that I create different
Resource utilization chart won't show all users
When opening the resource utilization chart, it won't show all of our users--we're still missing 15 people. The screen will not scroll or page change in anyway. Is this a bug? Cheers Lex
One single task list in order of priority?
Is there a way you can put all tasks from different task lists into a single list, and then re-order them so that you actually have a task list in order of priority?

When you create a meeting why must you alway use a mouse to select the date? This is time consuming. Is there a more efficient way to enter the meeting date?

I have about 10 team members that I want to add to all 40 projects and to add to all new projects as they are set up. Currently 4 only 4 users are set up when I create a new project. How do I add users to automatically add to all projects?

Drop box files from another user have been shared with me, and I have set up and successfully synced them in Zoho Projects - Dropbox sync, but the files do not show in the Documents tab of Zoho Projects. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help?
Removing Zoho window from e-mail body

Incorrect Task List API documentation
FYI Under the parameter section for Getting All Task Lists it lists "projid" as a required parameter. http://www.zoho.com/projects/developers/tasklists-api.html#2 Passing in this parameter will give you a "Missing Input Parameter". The correct parameter should be "projId". Hopefully this will save others from wasting their time!
"Save As" for to Create Project Templates
It would be very nice to be able to save a project as a template. In other words go the other way with it..right now we can create a new project from a template (of course!) but not the other way around.
Feature Request: White space in task notes

Price for Projects too high
Is there a way you can work out giving me access to the timesheet feature without the high price? I just can't justify the fee to just add the timesheet feature which is all I need with the current functionality of projects. Is the fee negotiable? I really like projects and would hate to not use it because of the high price. thanks, Ray
Add a delete bug option to the Bug tracker from within the bug itsself.
This option is available in list view but not one of the options available from within the open ticket. It's a tiny thing but would be handy for non tech users.
Is the max Gantt view less than 12 months?
When I tried to generate the Gantt view for my project, it looks like the selected period can not be more than 12 months. But I would like to see 36 month schedule. Not sure how I can do that. Thank you! qchentj
Distinct Logo per Client Project
We have, as many of your users, projects per client. Would it be possible to have a project specific or client specific logo? It would promote more client adoption if the logo was theirs. Ours can show up as well, but theirs would be the most important one. Has this been requested before? If so, any plans to get this done? I know that Teamworkpm has this feature and it provided an excellent client impression.
Cannot upload from Google Docs
Whenever I try to upload a doc to my project from Google Docs, it gives this error: Files with size equal to zero cannot be uploaded I suspect this is because I'm not choosing a file from my computer to upload in the "Browse" field. But obviously I don't want to do that since I've successfully selected a Google Doc from our library. Am I doing something wrong?
Inconsistent data/time format used in response xml
Can someone explain why different date/time formats are used throughout the API? We already try two (MM-dd-yyyy hh:mm and MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm) when parsing various xml responses and now I am encountering '29 May 2012 hh:mm'. Is there a way for us to control which format is returned to us? Why do the formats keep changing and not comply with the API doc, i.e. <proj_created>2009-10-20 17:08</proj_created> Working with this API is a real head ache. Please advise.
Addition of 'Not Applicable' as a Status
In the absence of user customizable status settings in Zoho, we would like the status of "Not Applicable" added. We build very robust templates and inevitably there are a handful of items that are not applicable to every project. Currently we have to add a note and then close the item. This is time consuming. progressively dependent tasks and subtasks
I have developed a task list with multiple dependent subtasks. Each subtask is dependent on the previous tasks completion. Such as design>(subtask) approval > (subtask) RFQ > (subtask) approval > (subtask) contract award. Since these subtasks are progressive and predependent on one another like a cascade, I can't figure out how to make a task completed, becasue when I mark it "status closed" (like the RFQ has been forwarded) all the subtasks below it show up closed when in fact they are yet to
How to - Individual Task completion %ge?
Hi, I 've a small issue. I want to know the %of completion of task by individual people in a group task. I mean if i have assigned a task to two people. Then one person completes the task and another have done partially. (just a task like learning something). If one person / user keep the task to 100% it is reflecting in another user account also. reorder tasklists
http://www.zoho.com/projects/help/taskslist.html this link states that we should be able to reorder tasklists. i dont' see how. i can easily reorder tasks within a tasklist. i can also reorder milestones. i don't see how to reorder tasklists within a milestone. below is a screenshot of the edit menu. the zoho support page makes it seem the option to reorder should be in this drop down... don't see it. help?

Email new post to forum - how to get all team members to be on watch list?
Hi, I just tried emailing a new forum topic into my forum. It works well - the post is made in the forum, and I even included an email attachment which came through. However, I just realized that none of the team members were notified of my post, because they were not included on the Forum Notification list. How do you email in a forum post and have all members selected for the Forum Notification users list? Thanks!
Resources rather than Users
When I am defining my project I want to assign a task to a 'resource' rather than a 'user' because to add a user requires an email address and confirmation etc, but the resource that will complete that task is not something I can send an email to and expect someone to play along. A Resource can be a User, another person, some kind of abstract process or event. I can't use this until this is possible, but I would like to, so please tell me if there is a way to do what I want.
Report across projects
How about adding a custom report creation feature to Projects. It would be nice to be able to run an allocation report for each user across all projects.
Client user needs create a Zoho Account after invited?
If i created a new project (as Project Owner), and I added a Client User who is the client in this project. for example, his email is: john@test.com After John gets the invitation, it says in the invitation: "Use the same password that has been used for signing in other ZohoProjects portals.". if John never has any password for any Zoho Projects. (or even has no Zoho account). then John has to create a Zoho Account first, am i right? Thanks
