I have Professional edition that theoretically allows me to import 10000 records in one CSV file. In fact its import about +- 2000 records and send error e-mail.
I reported problem by e-mail (see attached e-mails). After 2 days of waiting I called support and they redirected me to somebody more expierienced in data migration. I told him that at the begining I used Free edition to make development of import procedure. Specialist tested everything - even if I have all THREE colmumns in Contact-Roles file, if I handled to import Accounts, Contacts and Potentials etz and after 1 hour - he told me that I am using Free editions that has limitations until 1000 records and I should continue import after cutting of first 1000 of records. He was so sure. I answered him that he is wrong becouse: 1. I tried to do this before - before I called support I divided my 9k file into smaller chunks and tried to import less then 1k - system still were sending me emails about error during import - and there was no records in Zoho CRM. 2. I told him that he is wrong becouse system imported more then 1k records - I picked up 1044 record and find out it in CRM - and what was supprize when he saw ContactRole on this particular Potential. 3. I told him that he is wrong becouse I created new one system - just upgraded it to Professional and tried once again import 9k records and got same error message.
Dear Support - what else do I need to tell You to convince You that your great Zoho CRM system is BROKEN???
Are you interested what expierienced support guy answered me after pointing him three times??? "YOU HAVE TO DO IT ONCE AGAIN - DIVIDE YOUR FILE INTO 1K FILES AND START IMPORT FROM SECOND FILE BECOUSE FIRST IS DONE YET. EVERYTHING WILL BE OK"
