2 Years on Zoho filled with frustration, lost productivity, and lost business. Switched back to Google, SO HAPPY!

I just have to let everyone know my experience with Zoho. When I founded my third startup two years ago I was looking for a less expensive alternative to the Google platform that I had been using for so many years. I wasn't unhappy with Google but just wanted to save money. Zoho looked all super nice on the surface. It seemed like I could use Zoho for so much more than I could use Google for, and so I gave it a shot.

Let me tell you, it was not worth it! After starting to use any of Zoho's services in a more than basic manner I quickly found little annoying problems everywhere. Annoying problems that robbed me of productivity and efficiency with how I did business. I like things to be intuitive. Zoho is NOT by any stretch of the word, 'intuitive'. I'm not even sure how much email was sent to me that was never delivered to my inbox/spam or otherwise. I know for a fact it has happened at least once due to a lost $60k order that I never received. It made me wonder how much email was 'lost into the ether' and Zoho's response to the inquiry was absolutely unacceptable with no sort of accountability and/or resolution of the matter.

Soon I was growing ANGRY with Zoho and with no capacity to switch services because I was simply too busy trying to keep up with my business. It became so annoying that I ended up starting blaming Zoho for everything, even when it may have been user-error. Zoho and I simply went into a toxic relationship. I would rather of paid Google triple what I was paying to have avoided all the frustrations over the past two years.

Advice to those considering Zoho. Use the Trial, and don't just use it lightly, DIVE INTO IT COMPLETELY before deciding to put your business on this platform. I would also consider how important your email and other services are to you. Is it Critical? Then Zoho is not for you. I'm sure it will work fine for those who have very basic needs, though I am absolutely sure it will not be problem-free.

Good luck, and GOODBYE ZOHO!
