3 lines at beginning of new mail / german Umlaute

Hi Zoho Team!

I have got two questions:
1. There are 3 empty lines automatically inserted at the beginning of every mail. Why?
2. When I reply or forward a mail all german umlaute (ä,ü, ect.) are transformed in the html-version (ä etc) which makes text unreadable. Could you change that?
