For such a long time one aspect of SME business completely ignored has been a suitable POS solution native to Zoho and integrated with all the usual and necessary applications such as Inventory, Books, Commerce and CRM.
The first and generally only option for many is to use a 3rd party application that hopefully has an integration with Zoho. These tend to be messy, don't achieve exactly what you want and just add another level of complexity to the product mix you use to manage your business. The ideal solution for everyone is a product that is built to work as part of the Zoho Business Operating System.
Well it appears it does exist... enter stage left... Zoho Zakya (
https://www.zakya.com/) which includes all the key features one would be seeking form a straight forward POS system pitched at the SME market and yes, it integrates with Zoho Commerce and Zoho Books as well as integrating with various shipping services.
All sounds great right? Sadly, because the text system is based on Indian tax system it is not available outside India.
Has anyone outside of India looked at this and also, what is the level of interest for this app generally? It would be great to put some pressure on Zoho to look at releasing this into countries that have a similar tax system that might actually be able to work with the app as it stands.
