When you log in to Zoho Campaigns on November 17, 2021, you'll see a new option called Segments inside the Contacts module.
Segments is an existing feature that helps you send well-targeted email campaigns by grouping your contacts based on criteria like demographics, industries, and more.
When you click the Segments option, you'll see all the segments you've created thus far across mailing lists being migrated to one place. This migration is automatic and doesn't affect your segments one bit.
Unlike the current segments that are specific to a mailing list, these segments will work at an organization level, thereby helping you have all the criteria-matched contacts across Zoho Campaigns in one place. The main objective of this update is to help you build and maintain dynamic databases using criteria that are unique to your business. (This also removes the mandate of mailing list creation for adding and segmenting contacts inside Zoho Campaigns.)
