We sell two types of insurance at our company, personal and commercial lines. We have one Contact Layout for Personal, and one Contact Layout for Commercial. There are instances where one Contact may have both Personal AND commercial insurance with us, in which case we create them as a contact twice, one using the Personal Layout and one using the Commercial Layout.

This solves our need of keeping their personal and commercial information, deals, tasks, workflow etc. separate. However, when it comes to searching for that contact either in the Search Autosuggest bar, or in Referred by Lookup fields, there is no way to know which contact you are choosing.

Does anyone know of a solution for this? Is it possible to customize the Search Autosuggest to show an additional field (in this case, Layout)? I've already customized our Search Results page to include Layout, so that is fine. Finding a way to identify which contact is which in Referred by Lookup is probably the bigger issue, as its literally a guessing game right now, but at least with Search autosuggest you can just go through the full Search Results page and see which layouts the contacts are using.
