I regularly use your survey platform to conduct research involving a diverse range of participants who all live with chronic and severe illnesses. Over time, I’ve received consistent feedback from respondents indicating that they encounter difficulties completing surveys due to limitations that the platform does not currently accommodate.

Given the importance of inclusivity, especially for individuals with visual and cognitive impairments, I would like to suggest a few features that could significantly improve the accessibility of surveys conducted through your platform:

1.      Screen Reader Compatibility: Enhance compatibility with screen readers to ensure that all form elements and images are clearly labelled and described.

2.      Adjustable Text Size and Contrast: Enable users to adjust text size and contrast settings directly within the survey to accommodate their visual needs.

3.   Progress Indicators for survey questions: You currently have a page-based progress bar, but if there are many questions on a single page, that bar doesn’t help. Having the option to have the progress indicator work according to the number of questions would be far more useful to a person who is trying to manage their time and ener

4.      Sticky progress Indicators: Having the option to be able to scroll down the screen and have the progress bar follow would remove the need to scroll all the way back to the top to view their progress

5.      Audio Descriptions: Provide an option for questions to be read aloud, catering to users who may find it difficult to read the text. Alternatively, provide the ability for survey creators to add already-made audio files and an audio button to questions.

Implementing these features would greatly enhance the accessibility of your platform and ensure that it is more user-friendly for a wider range of respondents.
