Account Reconciliation: different closing to opening amounts

Account Reconciliation: different closing to opening amounts

My closing amount at the end of 31/5 is different to the opening amount on 1/6. Can you explain why and how I can amend. Previously they have always been the same and I would have thought that they should be. Thanks.
