ActiveSync Issues on iOS

I keep trying to add my account to my iPhone via ActiveSync.  However contacts and calendars fail to download at all and when I open the mail app I receive the following error:  The connection to the server failed.  When I go into contacts and calendar apps the option to show the Zoho account doesn't even appear. 

My settings are correct and used the follow setup:

username: email@mydomain.com
password: mypassword
server:  msync.zoho.com
domain:  left blank

Mail, Contacts, and Calendars are set to ON in the settings.  Push is set to ENABLED in the Zoho Control Panel.

Is this an account error or something else?  Thanks.
