activesync on windowsphone8 (Code 85010015), special characters wrong
Hi,
recently I switched to zoho.com from a zimbra account and I'm very pleased with the service.
But I have some issues:
1) Activesync is not working from my WindowsPhone8, it gives me Error Code 85010015. Configuration seems to be ok, also I looked into some of the discussions and instructions. Mail is working nearly (s below) ok by imap, but I do not see any option to synchronize contacts and calendar beside activesync, of course this is needed very much.
2) Emails per Imap on the mobile phone do not show mails properly. Some times it is ok, sometimes I get (e.g.) '=C3=BC=C3=9F' instead of an 'ΓΌ', sometimes I see only html code in the mail. This happens not when I'm accessing mails per dektop browser, only with the email client in the windows phone 8 system. Since this seems to depend on the the system the sender is using (ok | wrong characters | just html source code) I don't know what to do, but for now I can't work with this.
3) I asked for synchronization with Google calendar and someone answered, this will only be accessible with a paid plan. That'll be ok with me, I'm happy to pay for a good solution, but for now I have lots of issues and furthermore, I can't see anywhere a line stating: Google Cal Sync only with paid plan (etc on https://www.zoho.com/calendar/help/user-guide/synchronize.html or https://mail.zoho.com/biz/cpanel.do?tabmode=domain#), so I'm kind of uncertain what to do next.
