Activities assigned to contact but not showing in company record

Hi All,

I am currently using the free version but looking to upgrade to the standard version in the next week or so.  Before I do I want to ensure these issues are resolved or I know how to work around them.

This has always worked until the last few days:

Scenario:

Joe works for Xcompany, I used to create a task for the company - not neccessary assigning it to a contact - now I have to ensure a contact is assigned.

I've created a task, assigned it to a contact, completed the task, but it doesnt appear in the company closed activities, only against the contact - I cant see them unless I go into each contact - this is less than ideal - last week they appeared against the contact and the company record.

Secondly, I created a task this morning for a contact, the contact was already assigned to a company.  However its created a new contact (with no information) and assigned the open activity to this new contact -in the drop down I searched for the existing contact and clicked it, expecting it to assign to the company/and contact

Last week, I created a new view in activities, allowing me to see the company name (eg "related to") I dont want to see the contact name, however now I have to assign a contact name, this now appears in "related to" rather than the company name - I cant create the activity without assigning it to a contact now.

Are these fixed in the paid for version?
