Add account name to custom contact report

I created a custom report using the account and contact reports section showing the emails the contacts have received over a specific period. I can create the report I need however I cannot add the Account Name of the contact to the report. This field - Account Name - is not a column available to add to the report. Any ideas on how to create a report showing a list of emails by contact that includes account name greatly appreciated!
