Add ZeptoMail to Zoho One

Add ZeptoMail to Zoho One

Hi Zoho Team,

I would like to request that ZeptoMail be added as a fully included application within Zoho One.

Why this is important

Zoho One is positioned as a unified business operating system that brings the applications an organization needs under a single platform and subscription.

Email delivery is a fundamental part of almost every business application. However, there is currently a gap between the email marketing capabilities provided by Zoho Campaigns and the transactional email infrastructure provided by ZeptoMail.

For organizations using Zoho One, it would make sense for ZeptoMail to be part of the Zoho One offering rather than requiring customers to purchase and manage it separately.

ZeptoMail is not simply another email marketing product

I understand that Zoho already has email-related products such as Zoho Campaigns. However, ZeptoMail serves a different and very important purpose.

Zoho Campaigns is primarily designed for marketing and bulk email communication, while ZeptoMail is designed for transactional and application-generated emails, such as:

  • Account verification emails

  • Password reset emails

  • Login and security notifications

  • Invoices and payment notifications

  • Order confirmations

  • System notifications

  • Application alerts

  • Automated workflow emails

  • Emails generated by SaaS applications

  • Other business-critical transactional messages

These emails are an essential part of running a modern business and are often just as important as the business applications generating them.

The current situation creates unnecessary fragmentation

For a company using Zoho One, we currently have to think about:

  • Which Zoho product should be used for which type of email

  • Whether transactional email requires a separate ZeptoMail subscription

  • Managing another subscription and billing relationship

  • Managing email infrastructure separately from the rest of our Zoho One environment

  • Potentially maintaining separate administration, quotas, configuration and access management

This goes against one of the main advantages of Zoho One: having a unified platform where the different components of the business work together.

If an organization already has Zoho One, it should ideally have access to the infrastructure required to operate its Zoho applications and connected business systems without having to purchase another Zoho product separately.

A particularly important use case: custom applications and SaaS products

Many Zoho One customers also operate their own websites, SaaS products, customer portals and custom applications.

These systems need reliable transactional email infrastructure.

For example, a company may use Zoho One for its CRM, support, projects and internal operations while also running its own SaaS platform. That SaaS platform may need to send thousands of transactional emails every day.

Having ZeptoMail included in Zoho One would make it much easier for such organizations to keep their business infrastructure within the Zoho ecosystem.

What I am requesting

I would like Zoho to consider adding ZeptoMail to Zoho One, ideally with a meaningful transactional email allowance included as part of the Zoho One subscription.

At minimum, I would suggest:

  1. ZeptoMail should appear as a Zoho One application.

  2. Zoho One customers should receive a transactional email quota as part of their subscription.

  3. Additional usage could be available through paid usage/overage if necessary.

  4. Administration, users, domains and authentication should integrate with Zoho One wherever possible.

Why this fits the Zoho One philosophy

One of the biggest advantages of Zoho One is reducing the number of separate products, subscriptions and integrations that a company needs to manage.

Transactional email is not an optional peripheral service. It is a fundamental infrastructure component of modern software and business systems.

Including ZeptoMail in Zoho One would therefore make the platform more complete and would eliminate another unnecessary boundary between Zoho products.

I believe this would be a valuable addition to Zoho One and would make the platform significantly more attractive for organizations that want to consolidate their business technology stack within Zoho.

Thank you for considering this feature request.

Regards,
Ram
