Adding columns to Tasks List and Activities Report

I'm new to Zoho CRM and my problem concerns the Activites list and the 'Tasks and Events' Report. It's actually the same problem for both these.

The records returned do not contain any indication of which company or which person the Task refers to.

If I create the Lead 'Joe Bloggs' with a company name of 'ABC Ltd' and an associated Task 'Follow-up Call' then I expect that particular Task to be displayed in the Activities Report and the Tasks list with both the company name and the Lead name showing.

For me, looking at a list of Tasks that does not have a column naming the Company or the name of the Lead is next to useless. All I have is 'Subject', 'Due Date' and 'Status'.

If I want to scan the list of Tasks and pick out a couple of particular ones to work on I have to actually click on each to see who it pertains to.

I want to know to whom these Tasks refer and I cannot see how to bring in a column that will tell me this.

Any ideas?
