Adding Contacts & Campaign Subscribers through Gravity Forms
Alrighty,
So, I'm new to Zoho and am on Zoho One. I have Zoho Campaigns pulling from the Contacts Module based on a filtered list (if the Contact has "newsletter subscriber" checked). I have no idea if this is the best practice, but the Zoho onboarding team has been completely unresponsive to me via email and phone, despite paying for premium support. ANYWAY, I have to move forward. So, I use Gravity Forms on my website which integrates nicely with Zoho. However, I've noticed some possible issues and I'm not sure if how to handle them.
- It doesn't seem that you can map the business name to the Contacts Module. So, on my contact form, i ask for Business Name and when I push that data from GF to Zoho, there's no way to push Business Name (Account) for that Contact directly. As a temporary workaround, I created a "Temp Business Name" text field and then have a Zoho Flow get called whenever that field is updated to then create/update the Account, associate the contact, and then clear that field.
- It seems as though I can't map lookups in general, for example, I have "Time Zones" as a Lookup mainly because I didn't want to have inconsistencies. However, it looks like that may have been a bad choice. Again, would have been nice to get that "Zoho Premium Onboarding" I was promised to make sure I'm doing things right, but oh well. Since Zoho doesn't support global lists, should I implement something similar to what I did in #1? Just curious in general how to handle this type of scenario.
Hopefully support on the forums is more reliable that email or phone support.
Thanks,
AJ
