Adding employee name to the subject of a mail alert

Adding employee name to the subject of a mail alert

We currently have mail alerts configured to send an email out to an employee when they submit a form. The subject of that email is fixed for all the emails sent to every employee. We would like to have the ability to make it so that the subject of the email automatically adds the name of the employee in the subject. Would adding ${Employee_ID} in the subject of the mail alert do just that?
