Adding line breaks in Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari with Rich-Text troubles
Dear ZOHO,
The Rich-Text fields gives me a lot of trouble. When I try to use the data of these fields, it depends on the browser whether or not line breaks <br> or </ br> are added to the field. This makes it currently undo able to use the content of this field in html-page views and the like.
It seems that depending on the browser, creator adds <br> and/or <DIV> elements to the field or not. Chrome adds <DIV>, Firefox and Safari do not. I cannot tell what IE does because it will not show the RichText content in a Multiline field. Is this a known issue?
Also, remove formatting does not remove all formatting. <DIV> and <SPAN> elements remain in the formatting. Please see attachement.
If so, will ZOHO provide means to overcome this very annoying problem?
Maybe some workarounds could help in the short run:

Maybe a Creator system variable could be made available that detects the browser that is used. That variable could then be used by the developer.

Maybe the Rich-Text editor could provide an option for full-html editing so that the full code of the Rich-Text field could be viewed and edited.

Maybe Creator could stop adding spaces when switching between Free-flow scripting and Script Builder
