We are trying to set up access for integration from Zoho CRM to our Email account (office 365)

When doing this from the ZohoCRM Portal we always get the credential error issue even though I know the password is correct. (we are setting it up per the guide and using IMAP)

On some reading - I believe we have to use App Passwords from Azure \ Office 365? but App Passwords are to be retired and are extremely unsecure. 

So is there any other way to use this integration? Why doesn't ZoHo CRM Support Modern Authentication? Is there a plan to support this and is so when? As I am sure many enterprises will be using Azure MFA with Conditional Access and so App Passwords will not be possible
