additional Import fields

Is there a plan to add additional fields for import? Right now not including work is a problem for me. Also I cannot import a start date from either csv or xls.

With Tasks lists, I have a standard task list that is repeatable with Resources, Duration and Work Effort. I can create a task list template but all that carries over is the task name, none of the details.

Also, is there a way to set a duration for work, with a small team juggling multiple projects I work on an assumption that 1 day of work = 2 hours of time. Is there a way to stop the system from assuming 1 day = 8 hours?
