I want to share my experience with the transition from Zoho bundles and standalone apps to Zoho One.

I guess first I'll talk about why I migrated. Well that was pretty easy, I saved money in doing so. I was paying $159 mo. for Zoho Creator with Customer Portal, 2 users on CRM plus @ $120 mo. in addition to 5 users on Zoho mail and 2 users plus 1 external (accountant) user on Zoho Books. So all in all, I expanded my capabilities and reduced cost. I currently have 6 Zoho One users and am paying $210 per mo.

Now let me talk about some of the limitations. First of all, it seems quite limiting to eliminate the ability to have external users in applications like Zoho Books. So now if I want my accountant to have access to Books, I need to pay for a monthly Zoho One license. It seems the same is true of Zoho Projects which in any other form allows unlimited external users. Neither of these limitations make much sense to me considering the fact that Zoho Cliq is also part of Zoho One and there I can have external users.

I would like to know if anyone else has came upon these limitations and if you have figured any type of workaround outside of footing the bill for a full Zoho One license for that external user to have access to one app.

Does Zoho have any plans to change this?

One of the other problems that I have had is that past users on my Zoho Apps have started appearing all over the place. Although some users have not had any association with my organization for a couple of years, I now can't seem to get rid of them, no matter what I try.
