I was wondering if you have any experience / advice on how to make Zoho work in a way that makes sense for us.
We need an inventory module to manage our inventory. Naturally the first stop is to look at Zoho Inventory. However we cannot link it with the CRM, since
- Zoho Finance - does not work for us, it is quite limited and does not allow for the records to have lookups and other fields to the CRM. So the records are "on their own" and this is not ok for us.
- Zoho Inventory and Zoho CRM do not integrate any other way. The above is also not an integration, it is just showing Finance module within the CRM - it is not actually syncing them
The issue is the following
- inventory is made of sales order and purchase orders
- batches are tracked only if you add the purchase invoice, not when you register the receive - so we need to track the invoices in Inventory also (which is wrong by the way since you can actually deliver units and not issue an invoice, for customers on contract)
So we need to sync both sides - sales and purchase between CRM and Inventory.
We tried Zapier, since it supports line items - it only has triggers and actions which are sales related. You cannot create a purchase order
We tried Flow, since it provides a wider amount of actions - but it does not support line items
So we are stuck in a circle, since Zoho decided not to integrate, but to include Inventory modules via the Finance module. Does anyone have a solution to this?
