aliases on domain accounts pointing to external email

I have a domain name registered which is mylastname.com and have had it hosted on a webhost for many years and have a number of aliases/forwarders set up for family members (i.e. fred@mylastname.com forwards to my brother Fred's preferred gmail address). If I transfer the mail hosting to Zoho, will I still be able to set up these "external" aliases or forwarders? If so, is there a limit or cost?
