If you permitted a module to be global (able to be used without a lookup relationship) then we would not have to be limited by the restriction in using CRM variables:
- Cant be used in a function field
- Cant be used in Zoho Campaigns
- Cant change group without deleting and recreating
- Cant organize
- Cant Import or export
- Cant add custom attributes
- Cant use html (it escapes the code)
Modules DO NOT have the restrictions above, BUT......THEY REQUIRE A RELATIONSHIP FIELD WITH LEADS, CONTACTS, DEALS (another module) FOR IT TO BE USED!!!!!
We would not even NEED CRM variables if you only permitted modules to be global if we choose
