We hope you are doing well. We would like to request an important enhancement related to meeting invitations in Zoho Cliq.
Currently
Once an attendee declines a Cliq meeting, there is no way for them to accept it again, and the organizer cannot resend the invitation to that attendee alone. The only option is to edit the meeting. That sends a notification to every attendee and also creates a new meeting link, so the link everyone already saved stops working.
Example
A team member declines a weekly meeting by mistake, or because their plans changed. They now want to join, but the meeting no longer shows as an invitation they can accept. To bring them back, the organizer has to edit the meeting. All attendees get notified again and receive a new meeting link, and anyone using the old link can't join.
Requested enhancement
- Let an attendee change their response from "Declined" to "Accept" (or "Maybe") from the meeting card or calendar event.
- Let the organizer resend the invitation to a specific attendee, without notifying the others and without changing the meeting link.
This would save time for organizers and avoid confusion for the whole team.
