The PO needs to have ability to show manufacture part number and the barcode scanner in the inventory should be able to look that up or the SKU.  This should be a Boolean option where the user can set what they want to use in the system as far as item identification.  For example my internal part number is the manufacture - manufacture part number. But id rather the PO show:

Manufacture: Name 

Manufacture Part Number: Number

Description: Text.

So i feel as if the parts should be set like the address is in the templates where there are tags we set for items in the PO Creation or invoice creation since i dont necessarily want to give all that info to the customer.

So if it was done as item templates it could then be assigned when creating a invoice on weather to show this or not.  

At min i would like to see option to add manufacture and MPN to the PO
