Using the more generic callto: URLs would allow customers using other VOIP providers, like RingCentral, to click phone numbers to initiate calls.
We wrote a Chrome plug-in to convert skype URLs; however, since Zoho creates the URL with javascript after DOM is ready, it's not possible to rewrite them with a plug-in.
