Allow Territories as Filter Criteria in Reports and Dashboard Components

Territories in Zoho CRM are a powerful way to structure a sales organisation and control record access, but they are completely absent as a filter option when building reports or dashboard components.

This means that even though your data is organised by territory, you cannot:

  • Build a report filtered by a specific territory
  • Create a dashboard component showing pipeline for Territory X vs Territory Y
  • Let a Territory Manager self-serve their own performance view without admin help

The workaround most people use is to create a custom picklist field that mirrors the territory structure and maintain it manually, which is duplicated effort and prone to going out of sync.

What we're requesting:

  • Add Territory as an available filter/criteria field when creating CRM reports
  • Allow Territory as a grouping dimension in dashboards
  • Ideally, respect the logged-in user's territory context so managers automatically see their own territory's data

This is particularly important for mid-to-large sales teams where territory management is central to how the business operates. The territory feature is only half-useful if it cannot drive reporting.
