I'm still relatively new to Zoho CRM and am trying to find an alternative to using tags, which is something we are becoming rather reliant on. I've just discovered we can only have 10 tags per record and it's highly probable that in the current way we are using tags, many of our contacts could have more than 10 tags against their records.
We use tags for custom views, CRM workflows, Campaigns workflows, sync services, Zoho Forms, Zapier connections, etc.
Our contacts engage with us in many different ways and tags have been a really useful way for us to track this activity. We don't offer a standardised list of products and services, they are changing and growing all the time, and below are some examples of how we use tags:
- Registration for X event
- Attended X event
- Didn't attend X event
- Registered for Y event
- Attended Y event
- Didn't attend Y event
- Enquired about Z product
- Subscribed to Z product
- Opened Demo account for Z product
- Registered for A webinar
- Watched A webinar
- Didn't watch A webinar
etc etc
What would the viable alternatives to tags be in this situation, which will allow us to still be able to use this information to sync and integrate with other Zoho products and integrations?
