An increase in spam since moving to Zoho mail?
Hi guys
I'd had my emails for my domain via gmail sat on Google apps for the last five years. I recently moved it over to Zoho mail, but since doing so I've seen a large increase in the amount of spam I'm getting. Under gmail I'd get a few a week, but already I'm getting 20-30 a day, and a lot seem to be for email addresses on my account that I've never actually used for websites, ie think like todo@mydomain, which I've only use for sending myself to do emails. Another I get a lot of for is cahoot@mydomain (I sometimes use company@mydomain as a way of filtering), despite me not having used cahoot for a number of years, but I do still have a couple of old emails in my mailbox.
How am I suddendly getting so many, and how are they managing to pick up addresses that I've not actually used on any websites, etc? Are they actually able to 'mine' my mailbox for search for email accounts?!
I don't have the spam folder showing in my IMAP clients so at least I don't see them there, but I'm still logging in to webmail to make sure genuine emails don't end up in spam and it's really anoying me how much I'm now getting!
Thanks
