Android 5 without notifications from zoho app

Android 5 without notifications from zoho app

recently, i bought a new phone with android 5.
now, im getting no notifications at all from zoho app.

tried deleting cache, reinstalling the app, but nothing seems to work

i can still send and receive emails tru the app. just no notificatins... also, i think it also syncs only when i open the app because it says "loading" for a while before it refreshes
