Trident for macOS (v.1.8.0) is here with new features and enhancements to elevate your workplace communication. Let's take a quick look at them.
Request for and respond to read receipts for emails.
You can now ask for read receipts from the recipient while composing your emails using the 'Ask Receipt' option. This way, when the email is sent to the recipient, they can confirm whether they've opened your message or not.
When responding to read receipts, you can choose to automatically send read receipts when requested, never send them, or be prompted to decide each time.
Switch between Light and Dark modes.
In addition to the Dark, Light, and System themes available in Trident's customization options, you now have the ability to switch between Light and Dark modes in the Mail Composer, enabling seamless adaptation to various lighting conditions or personal preferences.
Other enhancements .
In this update, we've made some enhancements to other existing features to improve your experience using Trident. Here's a quick overview:
The email layout for printing has been revamped.
Out-of-office responses can now be configured along with time (earlier, only date was supported).
The contacts' overview can now be quickly accessed through the info icon on the contact card.
Email addresses in the contact cards can now be copied to the clipboard.
Right-click options for chat messages are now available in the parent thread as well.
Some design enhancements have been made to improve the user experience.
To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:
Open Trident.
In the system menu bar, click Trident.
Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
