We are also making an announcement that, we don't want to hold your data hostage in the ZohoCRM on demand service. ZohoCRM will support export data which can be imported into the open source vtiger CRM http://www.vtiger.com system, which AdventNet has been proud to provide financial support for.

ZohoCRM service itself is written in Java based on AdventNet proprietary code, while the open source vtiger CRM is a PHP based system. This is the first time that a commercial on-demand service supports data export to an open source format.
