i'm loving having Zoho for using my own domain for email (now that the free Google-apps option is gone).
but i also hate the current trend of browser-based web-apps' exclusivity over native applications.
it is awesome that i can use Zoho Mail in my native mail app - BUT i wish it were full-featured!
one particular pain-in-my-ass is in dealing with Spam - both Marking-as & UNmarking-as if false-positive.
with Gmail, i've discovered that it will learn if i simply move messages in/out of the junk box as needed (it does not recognize the native apps' action buttons except for the actual move).
i did contact Zoho Support about this & here is there response...
When you mark an email as "Not spam" from your email client, the command will not be recognized. However, when you click "Not spam" from Zoho webmail, the email will be whitelisted and the emails that come after it will also get delivered to Inbox and not spam folder.
SO, all that to say (ask)... does anyone know of any workarounds to accomplish the Gmail-like options in native email apps? or perhaps any 3rd-party tools that might provide for this functionality?
BTW, i use/prefer...
- Mac OS X (10.11.xx - El Capitan)
- Mac Mail.app (9.xx)
- iPhone/iPad (iOS - latest) Mail app
thanks.
