Thought I had this and have now started to really lose the will to live. Is there any way of creating a query table that doesn't turn all the columns into Plain Text.

I have imported a table successfully as Currency but then as soon as I do any sort of query it turns the currency columns to text which is not very helpful. 

If there is an answer to this or someway of transforming this back to currency please let me know. Without this the tool is incredibly limited.
