Any way to connect Zoho to Mailchimp using Zapier (or CloudWork) despite API limit?

Hi!

I'm really desperate with Zoho right now...

I've tried using both Cloudwork and Zapier to connect Zoho to Mailchimp, but both just plain and simply break Zoho (how can it be so low?) API limit of 250 calls.

So, basically, besides Zoho, all the Apps we use are working together without any problem (Newsletter, Chat, Analytics, etc.) Only Zoho falls short to meet our expectations because we can't even get it to integrate properly with our Newsletter. (And I didn't even try to integrate it with our Chat or anything else yet...)

Am I the only one with this issue? Is Zoho just broken? Is there still hope or some kind of easy solution (not involving coding custom things just for Zoho)?

Is there a way to see which one, between Zapier and Cloudwork, is making less API calls?

Please, tell me! I wanted to like Zoho so much that I really pushed my boss to use it instead of other CRM he knew better. Now I don't know if I have to tell him I was wrong...

P.S. I tried contacting support@zoho.com, but I just recieved a "copy-paste" kind of answer saying that I can send my newsletters with Zoho and don't have to use MailChimp... that's really not what I was asking for. :(
