Solopreneur here. Using CRM and Campaigns to run my business.
I run my business from my mobile phone. I don't have an office line. Any I'm in MLM i.e. C2C so many of my customers are also family, friends or colleagues. Any messaging or calls from me I want to use my current phone number.
I'm looking to solve 2 problems - hopefully with the same solution.
1. I want to utilize SMS messaging in Zoho Campaigns - and have it come from my current phone number. I have a 30 Days To Healthy Living Program with regular texts that go out to clients to coach them through. I want to dump these into a campaign so I don't have to be sending them out manually. My clients know my number so I don't want to change numbers and I also want to see all the messaging back in forth when I pull up the text stream on my phone.
2. i would like to be able to use the "call" feature from inside the desktop app (since I'm at my desk a lot more these covid days) and, again, want it to initiate the call from my cell. The mobile app works great with my phone but I like the ease of (when I'm at my desk) of initiating from the web not having to open up the phone and either look up the client in the app or manually enter the number.
I looked at RingCentral and it would require me to port my current number over to them and get a new number on my cell. Which would mean ALL my calls would have to go through RingCentral if I wanted call to my sister to look like they're coming from me. - ICK!
I've been using MightyText for web texting which works well and sends the text to my cell to send out but they don't offer an API for integration (and it doesn't solve the phone issue.) I'm also looking at PushBullet for this - they do have an API. Has anyone tried this integration?
