Apple Mail client rejecting password after password change

Hi,

i just changed my both my Zoho Admin password and Zoho Mail password online.

I can still seamingly access all Zoho services via web browser.  (I closed all browsers, even shut my laptop, restarted, logged in on Zoho Mail, CRM, etc.. All are working fine.

I have been prompted to enter my new password in Apple Mail (OSX and iOS).
I can only receive mails on both OSX and iOS.

I can NOT send email on both OSX and iOS.  Both tell me:  "unable to verify account name or password"
My emails remain stuck in outbox.

I only changed my password in OSX and iOS settings.  All the rest remained the same.

What's going wrong?
