Application not duplicating

I tried the solutions proposed to another with a similar posting in this forum, but none work. The last option was to export the script and import it. After exporting my application script, then trying to import it again, the process halts with numerous problems. I edited the application as best I could, but it still complained about one function missing, even though I'd cut out the form that asks for it. That particular function working fine in the original application.
