Applying a record template
Hi all, I can't figure this out. I hope you can help.
The scenario: We have learners who have to complete a 'digital' journal with tasks in order to qualify. Those tasks, once completed, need a final signature from their 'Mentor', which will trigger their certificate (based in a record template).
1. I have created a form which contains the tasks as check boxes, and a signature box for the learner to sign, followed by a second signature box for the Mentor to sign. I have divided the form into sections and hidden the final Mentor signature from the learner.
2. I have placed the form URL as a link in the final section of the course on our learning platform.
3. I have tested the input and submission of the form via our platform which is successful and populates all the shown fields as expected in the report.
What I want to do next:
Once the learner has signed in their signature box on the form, I want to trigger an email to the Mentor to access the same partially filled form, check the data, and put their final signature in the form.
The question is, how to do I give them access to the filled form? When I set up the workflow, at the moment, the Mentor link in the email opens up a new blank form.
Is it actually possible for 2 people to fill out different sections of the same form, and if so how?
I'm guessing this is a deluge thing, and I am not a coder!!
