Calendars can be used in multiple ways, as per the requirement of every individual. You can share them with various users, with different permissions and privileges. The following are the various options available in sharing your calendars.
Different Sharing Permissions:
View only Free/ Busy - Sharing a calendar with this permission allows the users to view only your free/ busy information. The individual event details are not available when only Free/ Busy information is shared. All users of the same organization will be able to look up free/ busy information of the other users in the same organization.
View event details - When a calendar is shared with 'View event details' permission, the users will be able to view the individual event details like Event name, duration, location etc.
Edit event details - Edit event details provides all the above information, and in addition the user with edit permission can edit the event and change the details of the events in that particular calendar.
Delegate or Manage - This is the highest level of privilege where the user with this permission can manage the entire calendar on behalf of the owner of the calendar. The user can create/ delete or edit the events and also invite other users for an event on behalf of the calendar owner.
Calendar Subscription:
Subscribing Calendars - You can also subscribe to other external calendars using iCal URL or directly to other users public calendars and view them Zoho Calendar.
