ATTENTION !! Auto Number No longer Maps - Unbelieveable

I've just off the phone with Zoho.

There have removed the ability to map an Auto Number field across the lead,contact,potential and Acoounts.

So if you use a unique number generated from a lead, you can no longer carry this through to other modules.

We generate many leads which have a unquie number which is their customer and invoice number. We convert about 60% in to contacts and potentials......and it is essential that the same number is carried through.

I was told this changed yesterday because some people had wrongly said that they needed different numbers in different modules......great so DON'T MAP THEM AND THIS WOULD HAPPEN.

WHY OH WHY has Zoho changed this for everybody when they could have told there customers not to map the Auto number.........if this isn't sorted....4 years of paying enterprise with over 50 users...have to go to Sales force at great expense and pain........

ZOHO you have dropped the ball big time on this one.......
