Authentication when using Microsoft Office Plugin

I am attempting to use the Plugin for Microsoft Office.  I can't get past authentication.  When I signed up I configured it to use my gmail credentials.  I only click on the "G" on the normal login screen.  Now it isn't clear to me what my zoho username and password are because I can't get any combination of username and password to work from the plugin, which I assume is a direct logon that doesn't attempt to get my information from gmail.  In short, if I navigate to zoho.com and click on the "G" to logon, that always works.  If I have to enter a username and password directly for zoho I can't get that to work.

I appreciate any suggestions.
