Auto Deletion of scheduled calender events once the schedule time passes.

Question
Hi
Ishwarya SG
Hello! Welcome to CRM customer support
Hello Dustin1
How can I help you?
Dustin Odom
I was wondering if we could disable the deleteing of any scheduled calls in crm calender. Meaning if I schedule a call at 2:00 P.M. and forget about it; I never know about it because zohocrm automatically removes it from my calender. MAybe implement some sort of status on a scheduled call.
Ishwarya SG
We do not have any feature to keep track of the scheduled call. You can make use of the events as an alternative
it will show a reminder and also when the event is missed, it will show as missed activity
Dustin Odom
Your not understanding me im afraid
I use Twilio integration
When a call is over and you "wrap up" your notes and select "With A Call" and schedule a call.
It goes to your zohocrm calender (the built in one)
but when lets say the scheduled 2:00 o clcok time passes; it automatically removes the call from your calender as it never happened; I would like the calender to keep the event on the calender until I mark it as complete (using some sort of status)
Ishwarya SG
I am sorry Dustin, it is not possible to track the call with the status
You can create a report with the criteria "call duration is not empty"
and have it in the home page of your Zoho CRM
Dustin Odom
Then can you disable the automatic deletion of the event off my zohocrm calender?
Ishwarya SG
I am sorry to disappoint you, Dustin!
It is by system design
and it cannot be reverted
Dustin Odom
Can you submit the request to the development team? We should have that option to choose rather we would like to have past due events shown on our calender or not; I love Zoho but thats a huge flaw.
at least let us add custom fields in the calls module
so we can adjust these options
Ishwarya SG
Sure, I can put that forward to the concerned team. Will keep you posted if we have any plans for the same
Thank you for the suggestion
