Custom functions are a useful tool when you want to simplify complex business processes that take time to execute. Schedules in Zoho Desk can help you automate these custom functions. You can choose to execute schedules at a particular time, or on a recurring basis. For example, using schedules, you can create a new ticket or task on a recurring basis or send agents reminders about a weekly meeting.
 
For support team leads or managers, Schedules can help you streamline operations in a variety of ways. You can assign unassigned tickets at the end of a day to specific agents, alert agents when they reach a pre-determined threshold of tickets, or even reassign tickets from offline agents to available agents periodically.

Hello,

We're using the Enterprise Version of Zoho Desk, but I don't see the pre-built custom functions. Have they been discontinued, or do they need to be activated somehow?

The pre-built functions can be found under Setup > Automation > Workflows > Custom Functions > Gallery, Kevin. If the function you are looking for is not available, reach out to us at support@zohodesk.com for the sample script.

What is the name of the Function in the Gallery. I do not see one that that would be Create a ticket from a schedule.
