Automated Field Updates Don't Trigger Related Workflow Tasks
Here is the scenario:
I have workflow rules that trigger new tasks when a potential switches stage from "Appointment Set" to "Follow Up". These tasks are for follow up and similar to "Call back Client after 3 Days", "Call Back Client after 7 Days", etc.
When I switch the stage manually to "Follow Up", the tasks get created every time.
But, when I create another workflow rule that triggers the stage to switch from "Appointment Set" to "Follow Up" after "X" number of days, the tasks never get triggered.
So a workflow to trigger a field update, then that field update triggers another workflow - the second workflow doesn't get triggered.
