Automatic email notification with Potential Upload

Hello,

I set up a workflow and rule so when I upload potentials from an Excel file every day, the appropriate sales engineer and sales manager receives an automatic email.  It works fine if we enter the information manually, but not via a file upload.

I have the rule set so that the Rule is executed upon the creation of the Potential. The Rule Criteria is set so that the Potential Creation date is "today".

There are no time alerts.

What am I missing?
