Automatically Create new event after a check-in is made?

Is it possible to create a rule or action that can create a new event a set duration after an account check-in is made? If it is, how do I go about it?

I would like my reps to be reminded a set time (That I can set as Sales Manager) after a check-in to reconnect with a customer, so they don't have to remember to manual create a new event each time. All our reps are field sales.
