Automatically Generate Email Upon Lead Creation

Does anyone know of a good workaround to automatically generate an email to a lead upon creation in the lead module? Our set up triggers an automatic email from our zoho webform, but we recently implemented a secondary landing page through Unbounce which send the data collected from the landing page to Zoho via API.  

I tried creating a workflow whereby when a lead is created and the lead source is the unbounce landing page the workflow triggers an email (via alert / email template), however zoho is telling me that I cannot send this email to the lead email address, just to internal emails (like lead owner, etc) unless we upgrade to Enterprise edition.

We can have the email created through Unbouce but then we lose any of the benefit of having these emails in zoho and seeing open rate.

Does anyone have a creative work around for this situation?  Thanks!
